Sometimes it’s hard to remember that fashion is supposed to be fun. Whether it’s the drab colors of the upcoming fall season or the stone faces of models storming the runway during Fashion Week, at a certain point it feels like the industry takes itself just a little too seriously. But not during Resort season. To celebrate the upcoming fun and spunky pre-spring collections, supermodel Adriana Lima and Vogue partnered together to create a quirky little video that calls attention to the best looks of Resort.
In the video, titled Hotel Swerve, the model dances around the pink and gold hotel, shimmying and shaking past waiters, busboys and bellhops wearing some of the most eye-catching looks from labels like Sonia Rykiel, J.W. Anderson, and Céline. Directed by Gordon von Steiner, the video gives us a reason to celebrate the upcoming season that doesn’t involve Black Friday sales or pumpkin spice lattes.
