Culina Ristorante and Café at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has launched a new culinary concept bringing coastal Italy to the 90210 neighborhoods.
The new concept was developed in collaboration with Italian chefs across the Four Seasons brand portfolio and draws inspiration from coastal towns in Italy’s Mediterranean and Adriatic regions. Dishes blend California’s fresh fare with a selection of DOP products direct from Italy.
The new Italian coastal inspired menu includes signature dishes including a variety of artisanal pizza prepared in Culina’s Neapolitan style outdoor patio oven and their crudo bar serving salmon, tuna, Hamachi, seabass and king crab crudos. They also offer a crudo royale with caviar.
Appetizers include a beef arancini, fried artichoke with lemon and caper aioli, seafood fritto misto and a Wagyu beef meatball. They also offer Parma ham, cheese and asparagus; a kale, spinach, arugula salad; heirloom tomatoes with stracciatella and basil; squash soup with whipped ricotta and a lobster, crab, and shrimp salad.
House made pastas include potato gnocchi with mushrooms and peas; spaghetti carbonara; rigatoni with eggplant, pasta with fennel sausage, broccolini and parmesan; spaghetti with tomatoes and shrimp and saffron risotto.
Main courses include branzino with tomato and olives, tuna with arugula and orange, New York steak with arugula, breaded veal chop, roasted chicken with potatoes and braised short ribs with polenta.
Chef specials include risotto with black truffle and grilled porterhouse steak. Sides include sauteed spinach, broccolini, roasted potatoes and sweet and sour cipollini onions.
We ended our dinner with a delicious berry tart.
Culina is located at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, located at 300 South Doheny Drive, open Sunday through Thursday 7am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 7am to 11pm. Reservations at 310.860.4000.
